Restaurant History 

1982 .- After 9 years living in England, we arrived at Javea and after several weeks searching, we found, in the historic town, a Pub for sale and we buy it.
There were many years of anècdotes, experiences and emotions.
Finally in 1994 we did all the reforms necessary to crystallize our dream and turn it into a restaurant.

And… La Parrilla del celler borns and since then we have been gradually improving the property, furniture and equipment, amenities for clients, etc.etc.

Is currently one of the most traditional restaurants in Javea, because during the last 10 years we have achieved the last Monday of each month a wine tasting from the most varied Spanish Wineries.

We specialise in the best meats and vegetables, always cooked on the grill, every year we went to  Cabrales BlueCheese Contest, in Asturias, where we manage the best cheeses such for the pleasure of the most demanding palates.

Built in 1976, consists of the ground floor, which is the restaurant and three apartments above, which belong to other owners.
Municipal services available water, electricity, Telephone, Air Conditioning.
In àrea Bar is the grill, coffee machine, several refrigerators, beer tanks, machine glasswasher, etc..
The kitchen contains a refrigerator / freezer, small kitchen, fully equipped dishwasher, storage shelves of dishes, cooking implements, etc.
The customers àrea  contains 6 wooden tables, 30 chairs, several refrigerators (for wines, soft drinks, ice cream, etc.). Tiles and furniture to storage our fantastic quality wines.
Two regular bathrooms, men & women.

This street is located in the central Old Town next to the Medieval Church, near the Principal Market, the city hall, banks, post office, pharmacy, etc..
It is one of the most visited pedestrian streets of the population.

Tradition

Javea-Xàbia, is one of the most popular cities of the Costa Blanca. Undoubtedly, the rich history of Javea has made it possible that today there are numerous customs inherited from ancient cultures. 60 Years' undoubtedly impacted in a decisive inhabitants, as it went from a society largely based on agriculture and fisheries, a very different structure in tourism demand, which influenced both the landscape and in its natural environment.

Javea, has an extensive schedule that runs from the festival of Christian origin to those of pagan origin. The celebrations will continue to Javea throughout the year, in the main urban centres: the old town and the Port.

January 5           3 Kings parade, organized by the "fifths", los Quintos (young 18 years men)
January 20         San Sebastian, patron saint of Javea. Acts eminently religious.
February            The "fifths" (young 18 years men) organised Carnivals.

April 28-May 3    The festivities  of Jesus Nazareno. These are the most important religious fiesta of Javea.
June 15             International and Cultural Festival. And Les Fogueres de Sant Joan, celebrations of pagan origin.
July 16              Virgen del Carmen,  floral offering procession in the middle of the bay.
July 16-20          The Moors and Christians.
August 2           Virgen de Los Angeles, in the Monastery of Saint Jerome.
1-8  September  Virgen de Loreto."Els bous" (bulls), the castle and fireworks from the escollera port.
